In severe industrial chemical processing, acid evaporators operate under extreme conditions combining elevated operating temperatures, concentrated acid media, and dynamic thermal cycling. Conventional stainless steels and basic nickel grades often suffer rapid embrittlement, pitting, or weld-decay in these severe operating environments.

The 10mm hot rolled Hastelloy C4 plate is metallurgically stabilized through optimized titanium additions and ultra-low carbon-silicon chemistry. This balanced formulation prevents grain-boundary precipitate formation during welding and hot forming, ensuring maximum ductility and corrosion resistance in the as-welded condition.
